About the Opportunity
An established market leader in the manufacturer of industrial building products and system for warehouses, logistic parks and industrial facilities is seeking a driven and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to join their UK sales team. With a strong presence across Europe, they offer end-to-end solutions, including installation, modernisation and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance for their clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Area Sales Manager will focus on securing new sales of high-quality equipment (e.g., lifts, dock levellers, industrial doors, shelters), working with developers, architects, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors across the construction sector.
Core Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within your region
* Conduct site surveys and attend pre-contract/design meetings
* Generate and revise technical quotations using internal systems
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure a smooth project handover and client satisfaction
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
* Utilise knowledge of construction processes and project lifecycles to influence specification and drive conversion
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone tenacious, adaptable and commercially astute, with a natural ability to build trust and credibility in a technical, relationship-led environment.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Proven track record in B2B field sales, ideally in construction, logistics, or industrial equipment sectors.
* Strong network of contractors, developers, and architects in the construction of logistics parks or industrial units.
* Resilient and persistent – experienced with long sales cycles and project-based work.
* Comfortable working with technical drawings/specs and engaging confidently with construction professionals.

Location & Travel
This is a field-based role covering the South of England. Regular travel to client sites is essential. Occasional international travel may be required.
