Area Sales Manager – Midlands, South & Southwest
A well-established provider of industrial solutions is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their expanding team. This key role will focus on the sale of compressed air systems and associated capital equipment, covering the Midlands and the South/Southwest regions.
We’re seeking a driven, technically capable sales professional with strong experience in the compressed air industry, someone who understands capital equipment sales cycles and thrives in a consultative, solution-led environment.
The Role
*
Develop new business and manage existing accounts across a well-established territory
*
Promote and sell compressed air systems and capital equipment to a wide range of industrial customers
*
Take full ownership of the sales process – from identifying opportunities to closing deals and supporting customer handover
*
Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders
Required Experience
*
Proven background in the compressed air industry (essential)
*
Track record of success in capital equipment sales, ideally with medium to high-value industrial products
*
Ability to manage a large geographic territory with regular travel
*
Strong commercial acumen with a consultative, solution-based approach
*
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills
*
Knowledge of rotary screw and reciprocating/piston compressors
*
Familiarity with compressed air systems design and specification
*
Experience working with a variety of industrial and engineering sector clients
