£45,000 + Company Car + Performance Bonus
Location: South West England (field-based role covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset)
Are you a driven sales professional looking to make your mark in the lighting industry? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a dynamic team and drive growth across the South West region.
About the Role:
As Area Sales Manager for the South West, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining key client relationships whilst identifying new business opportunities across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role offering excellent earning potential and career progression within a well-established lighting solutions company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow existing client accounts across the South West territory
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the lighting sector
• Build strong relationships with electrical contractors, wholesalers, and specifiers
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Provide technical product support and lighting solutions to clients
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
• Prepare detailed sales reports and market intelligence
What We're Looking For:
• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within electrical/lighting industry
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience managing a geographical territory
• Knowledge of lighting products/electrical industry advantageous
• Results-driven with a hunger for success
