Area Sales Manager - Midlands
Region: Midlands, South West & Wales
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Expenses

Reporting to: UK Sales Lead
We're recruiting on behalf of a global leader in sustainable fluid-flow technology, with manufacturing operations across four continents and a strong presence in energy-efficient HVAC solutions. This award-winning organisation is committed to innovation and performance, supporting clients across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
As Area Sales Manager, you'll lead business development and account management across the Midlands, South West, and Wales, working closely with consultants, contractors, and distributors to grow sales and enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and exceed regional sales targets across bookings and shipments
Develop and manage key client relationships, becoming the Basis of Design (BoD) early in project stages
Create proposals, quotations, and solution-based presentations using a structured sales process
Expand the customer base and drive brand loyalty through campaigns and strategic engagement
Monitor competitor activity and adapt sales strategies accordingly
Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reporting and forecasting
Represent the business at industry trade events and support wider business initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within HVAC or a related field
Strong solution selling and value-based sales experience
Excellent relationship management and presentation skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionallyDesirable:
Familiarity with commercial building services or specification-led sales
Strong understanding of sustainable technologies and energy efficiency solutions
