Area Sales Manager – Heavy Plant & Equipment - Yorkshire & surrounding areas An industry leading business specialising in Heavy Plant & Equipment are looking for an Area Sales Manager to promote their state of the art Heavy Plant & Equipment throughout the region. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for:  Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned area to promote the full earthmoving product range  Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline to ensure continual growth Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while seeking to acquire new clients Prepare and present sales proposals, forecasts, and reports to senior management Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and stay informed about market developments The successful Area Sales Manager will have:   Proven experience in a sales management role, ideally within the construction, heavy machinery, or related industries. Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and gain trust from customers. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
