As our client's experience further growth, they are seeking a Trainee Area Manager to join their team. Initially learning and training alongside the Senior Area Manager and National Sales Manager this role will grow into a fully-fledged Area Manager once training is completed. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly successful growing business and learn from a professional experienced team.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Support

  * Assist in identifying and contacting potential customers

  * Support the sales team in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations

  * Learn and apply sales techniques to promote products or services

Customer Service

  * Build positive relationships with customers

  * Respond to enquiries via phone, email, or in person

  * Handle basic customer queries and escalate complex issues

Product Knowledge

  * Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products or services

  * Stay updated on promotions, pricing, and competitor activity

Administration

  * Maintain accurate customer records and sales data

  * Update CRM systems and track sales progress

  * Assist with reporting and documentation

Training & Development

  * Participate in training sessions and workshops

  * Shadow experienced sales staff

  * Gradually take responsibility for managing own accounts or targets
