Job Title: GCSE Art & Design Tutor
Location: Eltham, London
Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
This role is perfect for a teacher or tutor who can bring art theory and practical skills to life, adapting sessions to suit each student's learning style while boosting both their technical ability and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging one-to-one small group tuition in GCSE Art & Design.
Support students in developing their creative portfolio, refining practical skills, and strengthening theoretical knowledge.
Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs, including students with SEN.
Provide constructive feedback and strategies to help learners gain confidence and meet their targets.
Track progress and liaise with families or the wider educational team where appropriate.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year teaching or tutoring experience in Art & Design (GCSE or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the GCSE Art & Design curriculum, assessment objectives, and portfolio requirements.
Right to work in the UK.
Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired:
QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience supporting students with SEN or additional needs.
