Job Description
We are looking for an Art and Photography Teacher to join a large and modern secondary school based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Art and Photography Teacher required on a full-time basis from September
Well-resourced department with state-of-the-art photography suite

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with a strong visual arts culture. The successful candidate will teach Art and Photography across KS3–KS4 and potentially KS5, depending on experience. The department is equipped with studios, darkroom, digital editing suites, and an in-house exhibition space.
The school supports students in developing traditional and digital skills and has strong uptake at GCSE and A-Level. As part of the department, you will contribute to trips, visiting artist events, and external exhibitions. Enthusiasm for nurturing creative thinking and technical precision is key.
Experience and Qualifications
• Art Teacher with Photography specialism desirable
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and photography processes
• QTS and experience across secondary phases
• Collaborative and creative teaching approach
• Right to work in the UK
