An oversubscribed, high-performing grammar school for girls in High Wycombe is looking to appoint a creative and analytical Art & Design Teacher to sustain its record of exceptional GCSE (AQA) and A-Level (Edexcel) results. The department enjoys light-filled studios, a ceramics workshop, dark-room facilities, and a MAC suite for digital illustration. The role involves teaching across KS3-KS5, curating the annual summer exhibition, and mentoring students building portfolios for architecture and art-school applications.

Selective intake with outstanding baseline drawing skills, eager for experimentation in mixed media, printmaking, and conceptual art.

Close partnership with the neighbouring boys’ grammar and regional galleries, enabling joint exhibitions, life-drawing masterclasses, and visiting-artist residencies.

Structured induction, subject networks with the Bucks Grammar Schools Consortium, and opportunities for leadership (Second in Department) within two years.
