Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025
End Date: Friday 19th December 2025
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term
Pay: £150 to £220+ per day dependent on experience
Location: Wigan
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Teacher of Art & Design for a full-time role running from Monday 3rd November to Friday 19th December 2025 at a well-regarded secondary school in Wigan.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a school known for its inclusive ethos, high expectations, and commitment to supporting both staff and students. The successful Teacher of Art & Design will deliver engaging, practical lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, fostering creativity, confidence, and skill development.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - CVs without QTS will not be considered
Have UK secondary teaching experience in Art & Design
Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Have strong behaviour management and a passion for student progress
Hold a valid enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
