Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a creative and committed Art/DT Teacher ready to inspire young minds through innovation and design? We at GSL Education Kent are thrilled to be recruiting for an enthusiastic Art/Design Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Medway from Term 6. This is a full-time role and an exciting opportunity to make an impact during the summer term.

As an Art/DT Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering engaging and inspiring Art and Design Technology lessons.
• Creating a classroom environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and technical skill development.
• Planning and marking in accordance with curriculum requirements.
• Working closely with the department to ensure a cohesive and innovative approach to Art/DT education.
• Contributing to the wider school community and participating in staff training, meetings, and events.
To be considered for the Art/DT Teacher role, you must:
• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Have experience teaching Art and/or DT at secondary level.
• Be confident in classroom management and capable of delivering creative, high-quality lessons.
• Be proactive, flexible, and committed to supporting students of all abilities.
• Have a valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
