The Role – Art & DT Teacher
We are looking for a confident and engaging Art & DT Teacher to work across KS1, KS2, and KS3 with students who have SEMH needs. In this role, you will plan and deliver accessible, inspiring art and design technology lessons tailored to the individual needs of your students. You will be responsible for creating a structured, nurturing classroom environment that encourages creativity, expression, and emotional growth. You must be confident in managing challenging behaviour and building strong relationships with students and staff alike.
The School – SEMH School
This is a specialist SEMH setting catering to students aged 5–13 across Key Stages 1, 2, and 3. The school provides a supportive, therapeutic environment focused on promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, and learning. With a broad curriculum and a strong emphasis on engagement, the school offers excellent facilities and a highly collaborative staff team.
