A prestigious and inclusive 11–18 secondary school in central Oxford is seeking an inspirational and skilled Teacher of Art and Design to join its highly creative faculty. The department is known for delivering an imaginative and rigorous curriculum that empowers students to think critically and creatively.
You will be working in a well-resourced and newly renovated art block with access to industry-standard facilities. The school maintains a thriving extra-curricular culture including an annual art exhibition, creative workshops, and collaborations with local galleries.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A recognised teaching qualification and a strong academic background in Art and Design

Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4, with ability to support A-Level desirable

Proven ability to inspire creativity, curiosity, and technical skill in students

An understanding of diverse artistic practices and willingness to incorporate contemporary techniques and digital media
