A creative and welcoming school in Andover is offering an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Art ECT to join its vibrant teaching staff from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role with a strong support structure in place for Early Career Teachers.

The Art Department
This well-resourced department includes a printmaking suite, kiln facilities, and access to digital art software. You’ll work with a Head of Department who believes in encouraging student creativity through guided experimentation, media exploration, and critical thinking.
Responsibilities

Deliver exciting Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
*
Support student development in a variety of media: drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art
*
Encourage a love of art history, critique, and personal response
*
Organise student exhibitions and contribute to creative extracurricular clubs
*
Participate fully in the school’s ECT induction programme
Ideal Candidate
*
Holds a degree in Fine Art, Visual Arts, or related subject
*
Is completing (or has completed) a PGCE with QTS
*
Has strong subject knowledge and a flair for engaging studentsBefore You Apply
