Are you a passionate Art Teacher seeking your next rewarding teaching opportunity?

Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a well-established and supportive Secondary school in the Accrington area. This role is 5 days per week, and due to start ASAP and is ongoing.

Position Details:

Job Title: Art Teacher

Location: Accrington, Lancashire

Start Date: ASAP, Ongoing.

Contract Type: Temporary

Daily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68 per day (dependant on experience)

About the Role:

  * Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  * Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities

  * Monitor and support student progress through meaningful assessment and feedback

  * Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  * Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification

  * Be confident in planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons

  * Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

  * Be committed to inspiring young people and improving outcomes for all learners

  * Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people

  * Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history

  * Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration

  * Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks
