Job Description
An independent school of high repute in Bath is looking to appoint a talented and innovative Art Teacher to join its vibrant Arts faculty. The school prides itself on providing a stimulating environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a challenging and exciting Art curriculum to a motivated student body, preparing them for GCSE and A-Level examinations while encouraging artistic exploration and expression.
Responsibilities:

Teach Art at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, focusing on both practical skills and art theory.

Develop engaging lesson plans that encourage experimentation with different media and techniques.

Prepare students for internal and external assessments and exhibitions.
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the school’s cultural programme.

Lead or support extracurricular activities, including clubs, competitions, and art shows.
Person Specification:

A qualified Art teacher with experience teaching at secondary level, preferably within independent schools.
*
Creative, enthusiastic, and able to inspire a diverse range of learners.
*
Strong knowledge of contemporary and traditional art practices.
*
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*
Enhanced DBS clearance mandatory.
