GSL Education are seeking a vibrant and dedicated Art Teacher to join a dynamic school community in Newham. Your Mission As an Art Teacher, you’ll transform the classroom into a creative studio where students can experiment, innovate, and grow. You’ll guide learners through the principles of art and design, encouraging them to develop their own unique style and appreciation for visual culture. What You'll Do Deliver engaging and imaginative Art lessons across Key Stages. Plan and prepare creative schemes of work aligned with the national curriculum. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and expression. Assess student progress and provide constructive, inspiring feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school’s creative arts provision. Promote artistic exploration, cultural awareness, and visual literacy. What You Bring Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Art in a school setting. Strong knowledge of art techniques, history, and contemporary practices. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A passion for teaching and inspiring creativity in young minds. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare. Why Join Us?
