Art Teacher - Full-Time | Specialist School | QTS Required | PERM | Pay dependant on experience
A specialist school in South East London is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. The role involves teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 to pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
Autism (ASC)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
Experience teaching Art at secondary level - OR a very artistic background
Strong understanding of SEN and inclusive practice
Creative, adaptable, and patient teaching approach
DBS on the update service or willing to apply
The Role Includes:
Delivering engaging, differentiated Art lessons
Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborating with support staff and therapists
Supporting creative expression, confidence, and independence
