Job Description

Join the Art department of a large secondary school in Salford, providing support for pupils aged 11-16 Full time Art Teacher Start date September 2025 Paid in line with teaching scale – M1 – UPS1 Teaching Pupils 11-16 The appointed Art teacher will be responsible for delivering a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. They will be expected to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. The role also includes marking and assessing student work, tracking progress, and contributing to discussions within the Art department to support pupil development where needed. Our client school is based in Salford and is easily accessible via the M60, M62, and A6 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester, including Manchester city centre, Eccles, and Swinton. For candidates who do not drive, the school is well connected by public transport, with convenient links from nearby areas such as Pendlebury, Walkden, and Worsley. To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have: QTS Experience teaching Art and Design to GCSE level Both experienced and newly qualified Art teachers are urged to apply for this position as all relevant induction and support will be provided.
