Job Description
Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting a highly-regarding mainstream secondary school in Wigan. The school require a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher for November- December.

Students are encouraged to be confident, resilient, and adaptive members the school and wider community develop vital leadership, teamwork and independent learning skills and build a lifelong love of the Arts. This in turn, prepares our students for further study or their chosen career pathway.
The successful candidate will be working as part of an established Art department teaching to KS3/4. Whether you are an experienced Art Teacher or a Newly Qualified Art Teacher this position will be a positive move in your career.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience teaching in UK schools
* A resilient and pro-active nature
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
* Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and all aspects of assessment, tracking and utilising data
Successful candidates must have:
* A recognised teaching qualification from a UK university with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one.
* At least two references including most recent/current employer.
* Right to work in the UK.
* A high standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
