Job Description
Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Art Teacher for a SEND school based within the Rochdale area.
The role will involve teaching Art from KS2 - KS4 to learners with SEMH.
The position is due to begin on 1st September and will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to teach Art from KS2 - KS4
* Experience working with pupils with SEND including SEMH
* A passion for the subject
* Ability to raise standards throughout
* Ability to engage with a varied cohort
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to differentiate lessons accordingly
* Good behaviour management strategies
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
* Hold PGCE or equivalent
