About the Role
*
Teach Art and Design to KS3 and KS4, with scope to teach A-Level for the right candidate
*
Plan and deliver a varied curriculum that explores both traditional and contemporary media
*
Foster a positive and imaginative learning environment where students feel confident expressing themselves
*
Prepare students for successful coursework outcomes and external exhibitions
*
Take a lead on extra-curricular opportunities such as art clubs, portfolio development workshops, and local art installations
Ideal Candidate
*
Holds QTS and a degree in Art, Fine Art, or related discipline
*
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of a range of artistic techniques including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, or digital media
*
Committed to inclusive practice and differentiated teaching for diverse student needs
*
Experience in preparing students for Art GCSEs (and ideally A-Levels) with strong outcomes
*
A collaborative and energetic approach to team working
