A high-performing and innovative school in Basingstoke is seeking a talented Art Teacher to join its successful creative arts department in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and imaginative practitioner who is passionate about helping students develop personal expression and professional-standard portfolios.
Role Description:
You will teach KS3 and KS4 Art, with the option to lead KS5 Fine Art or Photography based on specialism. The curriculum combines technical foundations (drawing, painting, printmaking) with concept development and digital integration.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver a broad and stimulating Art curriculum

Support students in building GCSE and A-Level portfolios
*
Organise termly exhibitions, trips to galleries, and visiting artist sessions
*
Lead or contribute to enrichment (e.g. mural projects, creative careers fairs)
Candidate Profile:

Degree in Art/Fine Art or similar, with QTS
*
Experienced in a range of media (traditional and digital)
*
Able to inspire confidence, risk-taking, and artistic growth in learners
*
Passionate about art as personal, social, and cultural expression
