Job Description
We are looking for an Art Teacher to work within a high-performing secondary school near Oxford, Oxfordshire.
Art Teacher required for a September start – full-time, permanent position

Opportunity to teach Fine Art and/or Photography to GCSE and A-Level
An outstanding school near Oxford is seeking a creative and committed Art Teacher to join its successful Visual Arts department. The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence and creativity, and offers a rich and varied curriculum that encourages students to develop both technical skills and personal artistic voice.
This full-time position involves teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with the option of A-Level teaching for suitably experienced candidates. The department offers GCSE Fine Art and Photography, with specialist facilities including studios, darkrooms, and digital editing suites.
The ideal candidate will be confident teaching traditional and contemporary media, have excellent subject knowledge, and be eager to contribute to exhibitions, enrichment clubs, and the school’s broader cultural programme.
Experience and Qualifications
• Art degree with teaching qualification (QTS)
• Experience teaching Fine Art or Photography to KS4/5
• Knowledge of both traditional and digital techniques
