We are looking for an Art Teacher to join a leading independent school in Bridgwater, Somerset.
Art Teacher required from September 2025 – Full-Time, Permanent

A vibrant and welcoming independent school near Bridgwater is looking to appoint an Art Teacher for September 2025. The school promotes a strong creative ethos, and Art is central to both the academic and co-curricular life of the school.
The Art department has fully equipped studios for fine art, ceramics, and digital media, and student artwork is regularly celebrated through exhibitions, competitions, and collaborative projects. The department offers GCSE and A-Level Art & Design, and supports portfolio preparation for art college applications.
You will teach across KS3–KS5, delivering dynamic, student-led lessons and encouraging individual exploration and skill development. A background in painting, sculpture, printmaking, or digital design would be beneficial.
Experience and Qualifications
• Art degree + QTS or independent school teaching experience
• Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3–KS5)
• Passion for student-led creativity and artistic expression
• Ability to contribute to exhibitions and whole-school events
• Right to work in the UK
