Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of young artists?
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a talented and dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to nurture artistic expression and critical thinking in students across Key Stages.
Role Overview:
As an Art Teacher, you will engage students in a range of artistic techniques and disciplines, encouraging exploration and innovation. You will help build their confidence and appreciation of visual arts while supporting academic achievement.
Responsibilities as an Art Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that cater to diverse abilities.
Promote creative thinking and visual literacy.
Guide students through coursework and prepare them for GCSE or A-Level Art.
Maintain a safe and inspiring learning environment.
Assess and report on students’ progress in line with school policies.
Requirements for Art Teacher:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Specialism in Art or related creative subject.
Previous experience teaching Art in a school setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
A detailed CV covering the last 10 years, with gaps clearly explained.
