A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Bourne End is seeking a passionate Art and Design Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity and artistic expression in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
Teach engaging and imaginative Art and Design lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to support the diverse needs of all learners
Foster a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that nurtures creativity and artistic expression
Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance student outcomes and contribute to curriculum development
Uphold high expectations for behaviour and actively promote student engagement in learning
The ideal candidate will:
Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has proven experience teaching Art and Design at secondary level, particularly across Key Stages 3 and 4
Delivers lessons with a flexible, creative, and inclusive approach that engages all learners
Demonstrates strong classroom management and clear, effective communication skills
