Are you a dynamic Creative Arts Teacher with a talent for inspiring imagination and innovation?
A respected secondary school in Wells is seeking a full-time Creative Arts Teacher to deliver a cross-disciplinary arts curriculum. When you join their vibrant arts faculty, you’ll work collaboratively to shape students’ creative journeys across art, design, and media studies.
The Role
You will plan and teach Creative Arts modules across KS3 and KS4, integrating visual arts, digital media, and design thinking. With small class sizes and enthusiastic learners, you’ll have room to foster creativity and critical exploration.
Key responsibilities will include:

Designing interdisciplinary arts lessons that blend media, design, and visual literacy

Guiding students through project-based and thematic learning experiences

Organising exhibitions, film screenings, and creative celebrations

Supporting GCSE and vocational qualifications

Mentoring and training apprentice staff or student teachers
