Job Description
Good Afternoon,
I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a ASB Officer this role will be SW1E6QP
The right candidate will:
* Independently manage a diverse caseload of ASB reports from residents across Westminster.
* Investigate ASB complaints and develop tailored action plans, including: Sending block letters Conducting interviews and door knocks
* Hosting resident surgeries (including evenings)
* Holding case conferences and requesting formal disclosures Apply legal and non-legal enforcement tools under the ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014 and other relevant legislation. Liaise with Westminster Council’s legal team to seek advice, prepare chronologies, and complete Equality Act documentation.
* Prepare court bundles, witness statements, notices, and attend hearings and evictions.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as the police, mental health services, adult social care, and the Integrated Gangs and Exploitation Unit. Provide regular updates and support to residents, including referrals to services like Victim Support and Floating Support.
* Proactive estate-based projects to deter and prevent ASB. Stay up to date with best practices and legal tools through regular training.
* Ensure all cases are managed within agreed service level agreements and contribute to team KPIs.
We require the following:
* Strong experience in ASB case management within a housing or local authority setting.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement tools
