Salary/Benefits: £25k - £40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a privately owned Asbestos company, with a strong presence in the South East of England. They are looking for a hardworking Asbestos Analyst who can hit the ground running. It is essential that candidates are fully qualified and competent to undertake air monitoring and analytical duties. The company offer the full range of asbestos management services, so can offer training as well as the opportunity to gain further P certifications. Salaries and benefits are competitive.
Our client would prefer candidates to be based around: Basildon, Wickford, Hockley, Southend-on-Sea, Canvey Island, Maldon, Chelmsford, Braintree, Witham, Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow, Epping, Chigwell, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Enfield, Ilford, Barking, Erith, Grays, Tilbury, Dartford, Bromley, Orpington, Gravesend, Sidcup, Potters Bar, Hatfield, St Albans, Saffron Walden, Bishop's Stortford.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Qualified with the BOHS P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Can confidently undertake 4 Stage Clearances and air monitoring duties
- Conversant in HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- IT proficient, and ideally will have experience with TEAMS / TRACKER software
- Good leadership and management skills
The Role:
- Working across a range of commercial, public sector and domestic client sites
- Completing 4 Stage Clearances
- Personal, smoke, leak, background and reassurance air monitoring
- Working on asbestos removal project of varying sizes
- Overseeing safety compliance across removals projects
- Wearing correct PPE whilst attending site
- Producing regular reports
- Producing and issuing re-occupation certificates
