Asbestos Bulk Analyst - BOHS P401

Up to £29,000 + Benefits

Southampoton, Hampshire

A reputable UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy based in Southampton is looking to strengthen its laboratory team as part of its ongoing growth.

With a consistent increase in workload, the business is keen to bring in a P401 qualified Bulk Analyst who is looking for a stable role within a supportive and well-run environment.

Working within the laboratory, you’ll be responsible for the safe and accurate identification of asbestos within bulk samples, ensuring all analysis meets current regulatory standards. The role would suit someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable managing their own workload in a busy setting.

Key duties of an Asbestos Bulk Analyst: :

  * Conducting asbestos bulk analysis in line with industry standards

  * Producing clear and accurate reports

  * Following HSG248 guidance and internal quality procedures

  * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and compliance within the lab

The successful Asbestos Bulk Analyst will have:

  * BOHS P401 qualified (or equivalent)

  * Previous laboratory experience within the asbestos sector

  * Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to tasks

  * Confident communicator and reliable team member
