Salary/Benefits: £25k - £32k DOE + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking a methodical Asbestos Lab Analyst with a good working history based in Essex. Applicants will need to hold the BOHS P401 and experience analysing asbestos bulk samples and provide clients with result certificates. Experience / Qualifications:

  * Obtained the BOHS P401

  * Great industry knowledge of UKAS and HSG 248 guidelines

  * Precise and reliable

  * Proficient IT and numeracy skills

  * Working to set personal targets

  * Meticulous and hard working

The Role:

  * Completing quality assurance checks

  * Establish types of asbestos using PLM and stereo-microscopy

  * Log and store samples accurately

  * Wearing correct PPE

  * Provide clients with result certificates

  * Analysing samples

  * Calibrating equipment
