Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the South East of England. Our client holds UKAS accreditation, and provides a wide range of Environmental Compliance services, so there are excellent further training opportunities. We are seeking someone who is fully qualified and has a positive track record within the industry. The role will involve working on a variety of domestic, commercial and local authority premises. Our client is offering attractive salaries and usual benefits packages.
Our client can consider candidates from the following locations: Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, St Albans, Aylesbury, Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Chelmsford, Romford, Billericay, Basildon, Braintree, Enfield, Ilford, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Slough, Southall, Hounslow, High Wycombe, Welwyn Garden City, Sawbridgeworth, Cheshunt, Grays, Tilbury, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents
* Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
* Fully conversant in HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
* Able to work in line with UKAS regulations
* Flexible to travel as required
* Comfortable using IT software
The Role:
* Undertaking management, refurbishment, demolition and reinspection asbestos surveys across a range of client sites
* Collecting samples from site for analysis
* Conducting 4 stage clearances
* Carrying out reassurance, leak, background, personal and smoke air testing
* Working across a variety of asbestos removals projects
* Ensuring removals projects adhere to safety guidelines
* Producing detailed technical reports
* Travelling in line with client requirements
