Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading Asbestos outfit, who has a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are seeking a qualified and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, who can competently undertake the full range of asbestos surveys as well as air testing and analytical duties. The company has recently grown their client portfolio and is looking to continue their success. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits for the successful candidate.
Our client would prefer candidates who are based around: Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Daventry, Corby, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Birmingham, Redditch, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Warminster, Droitwich Spa, Lichfield, Tamworth, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Derby, Burton upon Trent, Loughborough, Nottingham, Beeston.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, within a UKAS accredited company
- Will hold the BOHS P402, P404 & P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
- Strong working knowledge, including UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Competent in producing detailed written reports
- Travelling in line with company requirements
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Completing Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across a range of commercial and domestic sites
- Producing site-specific survey reports
- Conducting 4 stage clearances
- Leak, smoke, background, personal and reassurance air monitoring
- Ensuring to wear correct PPE whilst on site
- Overseeing compliance across a variety of asbestos removals projects
- Collecting ACM samples from site
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients
