Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: St Helens, Merseyside
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits
Due to company growth, a UKAS accredited Environmental Consultancy is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover the North West of England. The company is multi-disciplined and can offer great further training and development for hardworking individuals. You will be servicing a range of client sites, ensuring to complete work to agreed personal targets and deadlines. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits, including: overtime, training, pension scheme and company vehicle.
Locations of work include: St Helens, Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Bootle, Skelmersdale, Formby, Southport, Chorley, Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Wilmslow, Blackburn, Preston, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Macclesfield, Chester, Huddersfield, Burnley, Leigh.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Good experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst within a well-established outfit
- Must be qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications (or RSPH equivalents)
- Fully versed in UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 264 guidelines
- Confident in working across a mixed portfolio of client sites
- Able to produce detailed survey reports
- Good IT and literacy skills
The Role:
- Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across commercial, domestic and industrial client sites
- 4 stage clearances
- Personal, leak, smoke, background and re-assurance air testing
- Producing thorough technical reports
- Collecting asbestos samples from sites
- Managing the compliance and safety across a range of removals projects
- Meeting with clients to discuss findings and to make recommendations
- Travelling in line with company requirements
