Inspire children to reach for the stars!The role as an ASD Support Assistant:
To support students with their learning in the classroom
Assist with bridging any gaps in their development and education
Encourage students to achieve their goals - both academic and personal
Facilitate a positive environment to help make students learning concrete
Assist the class teacher with general support in the classroom - this can be helping prepare lessons, tidy up afterwards, provide general supervision over the classroomThe successful ASD Support Assistant:
Will have some experience working with children in a classroom setting
Will be patient, proactive and passionate about making a difference
Will be calm and positive - be able to easily build relationships with the children
Understand the importance of Safeguarding
Have a DBS or be willing to obtain oneThis is an excellent opportunity for any individual looking to add valuable experience to their skillset.
