Primary SEN Teacher – Autism Unit | Lambeth | Full-Time | September Start 🌟
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong interest in working with children with Autism (ASC)? An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Lambeth is looking for a talented SEN Teacher to join their specialist Autism Resource Base from September.
🏫 The School:
A well-respected mainstream primary school with an on-site, purpose-built Autism Unit
Rated Good by Ofsted with a strong, supportive SEN team
Committed to inclusion and ensuring every child achieves their potential
Excellent resources and support from experienced LSAs and therapists👩🏫 The Role:
Full-time position teaching a small class of pupils with Autism, supported by skilled teaching assistants
Develop and deliver personalised learning plans aligned with EHCP targets
Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and external agencies
Create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment that supports pupils’ communication, behaviour, and social skills✅ The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or SEN specialism
Experience working with pupils with Autism and/or additional needs
Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
Calm, resilient, and compassionate with a creative approach to teaching
ECTs with SEN experience are welcome to apply💼 The Offer:
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
