🎯 Purpose of the Role
To plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality soft skills and employability sessions as part of the AEB-funded programme. This role will involve supporting adult learners to progress into further training and/or employment.
🧰 Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom and online sessions up to Level 3, focusing on soft skills, personal development, and employability
Tailor delivery based on learners’ needs, using initial assessments and individual learning plans
Deliver engaging content that develops confidence, motivation, communication, digital literacy, and other essential skills
Embed safeguarding, British values, equality, and prevent throughout delivery
Support learners’ digital development and prepare them for job searching and employment interviews
Promote online safety and mental wellbeing
Complete all required learner documentation including ILPs, registers, reviews, and progression records
Monitor and support learner progress towards agreed goals
Contribute to inductions, enrolments, and learner engagement initiatives
Provide information, advice and guidance (IAG) to help learners achieve meaningful outcomes
Celebrate achievements, track success stories, and build learner aspirations
Liaise with employers and internal teams to help learners progress
Ensure compliance with funding and awarding body requirements
Promote and develop independent and remote learning
Contribute to curriculum development and programme improvement
✅ Essential Requirements
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, AET or equivalent)
Assessor Award (L3) or equivalent
GCSEs (or Functional Skills L2) in English and Maths
Experience delivering training to unemployed adult learners
Strong IT skills and confidence in digital delivery
Excellent communication, motivation, and classroom management skills
Experience planning inclusive, differentiated learning sessions
Experience with roll-on/roll-off delivery models
Passion for learner progression and achieving positive outcomes
