Job Title: General Assembly
Hours: Rotating Shifts — 5:30am–1:30pm / 2:00pm–10:30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 2:00pm–8:00pm on Friday
Salary: £28,948 - £37,560 dependent on experience
The Role
* Mechanically fitting linear guides and ball screws to machined parts, working to tight tolerances to ensure high accuracy.
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Health and Safety guidelines.
* Actively supporting company Quality Control processes.
* Following written procedures and detailed checklists.
* Supporting weekly production plans.
* Completing quality gateways to a high standard.
* Providing on-the-job training where required.
The Person
* Experience using measuring equipment preferred.
* Able to work to tight tolerances and confidently use hand tools.
* Able to read and work from engineering drawings.
* Strong communication skills, working closely with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
* A team player who can work to schedules and deadlines.
* Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
