Job Description
Select are currently recruiting for Machine Operators for one of our fantastic clients in Mildenhall.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit experienced Machine Operators to join both their Night and day Production teams. Experience in operating a lathe machine is preferred but not essential.
You will be responsible for monitoring product quality whilst supporting high-precision production. Full training is provided with a structured on boarding process.
Shift Pattern (rotating 12-hour shifts):
Week 1: Wednesday–Saturday (18:00–06:00)
Week 2: Thursday–Saturday (06:00–18:00)
Hours: 77 hours over 2 weeks
Training: Up to 4 weeks, Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00
Pay Rate: £12.51 per hour during training, rising to £18.39 after training
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate lathe machines to meet production requirements
Carry out regular quality checks and record production data
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
Work to high safety and cleanliness standards
Pack finished components and label correctly
