Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in assembly processes within a warehouse environment. This role involves using hand and power tools to assemble components and ensure the quality of finished products.
Responsibilities
* Assemble products according to specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Conduct quality checks on assembled items to ensure they meet company standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Report any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process to supervisors.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficient in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
* Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and other machinery used in assembly.
* Previous assembly experience is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is an advantage.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
