Job Description

This Assembly operative role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team in the telecommunications and networking sector. This company manufactures equipment for the telecoms sector and they are expanding due to an increase in orders.
Working Hours:
  * 39 hours per week
  * Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
  * Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  * Overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
  * Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components, including sheet metal assemblies and basic electrical component assembly
  * Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and instructions accurately
  * Conduct precise measurements and ensure angular orientation of components
  * Maintain consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and adherence to health & safety procedures
  * Continuously develop skills and knowledge to enhance performance in the role
  * Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by the company
Qualifications
  * Proficiency in assembly work
  * Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup
  * Experience with hand and power tools
  * Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  * Strong attention to detail and quality control
The salary for this Assembly Operative role is £29406 per year (£14.50 per hour)
