Join Our Client's Team as an Assembly Operative!

We're looking for reliable, hands-on and detail-focused Assembly Operatives to join our client's production team in Ely. This role will involve supporting and working closely alongside the CNC team, assisting with the production and assembly of wooden products and components.

Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy manufacturing environment. Previous machine operative, manufacturing, or woodwork experience would be highly advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Reliable & punctual - a strong work ethic and good attendance are essential.
Detail-focused - able to work accurately and maintain high-quality standards.
Hands-on & practical - comfortable working with components, machinery and following instructions.
Previous machine operative, manufacturing, CNC support, or woodwork experience preferred.
Adaptable - able to work effectively in a busy production environment.
A team player - positive, cooperative and supportive of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble components and products accurately according to set specifications.
Support the CNC team with production-related tasks as required.
Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Keep your workstation clean, organised and safe.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the production and assembly process.
