Job Description
We are working with a busy manufacturer based in Huddersfield who are looking for a reliable and skilled assembly operative. This role will involve building parts which will be made to order and it requires a keen eye for detail and can be quite delicate work. Our client are approaching their peak season and will look to offer trails for this role so they can ensure that it is the correct fit for the company and candidate. They offer a friendly working environment and have a very good work ethos throughout the warehouse and assembly environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Using air powered machinery to build components.
* Checking each product with inspection machinery and reworking where necessary.
* Bagging and labelling all products so that they are clearly marked in the dispatch areas ready for collection.
* Obtaining all materials from the stock and assisting with the putting away of the stock coming in.
* Learning new techniques and assisting with the training of new staff in the future.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations throughout the site.
Job Requirements
* Past experience assembling small components.
* Confident with physical work and comfortable being on your feet throughout the full shift.
* Ideally would drive and have their own transport.
* Excellent communicator and enthusiastic attitude.
Hours:
8am – 5pm (Monday – Friday)
