Job Description
We’re hiring for an Assembly Operative to join a market-leading manufacturer based in Glossop. The successful candidate will be supported by a dedicated team of manufacturing professionals in order to uphold the companies stellar reputation.
This is a full-time permanent position with further opportunities to grow and develop within the company.

What will you be doing as an Assembly Operative?
* Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with company specifications
* Using machinery, i.e. Dimension Saw, Mitre Saw, Drill Stand and hand routers
* Producing furniture from written instructions along with manufacturing drawings
* Preparing components to achieve the highest standard of finish required
* Assembling furniture using a mixture of fixings i.e. Screws, Dowels and Glued & mitred joints
* Working to achieve set daily/weekly output targets
What do you need?
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* The ability to follow and work to manufacturing drawings
* A knowledge of how to use furniture manufacturing machinery
