We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client based in Durham, who are looking to expand their production team with reliable and enthusiastic Assembly Operatives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that values its workforce and offers long-term career prospects.
Tasks:
* Print appropriate paperwork with instructions
* Select the timber profile described in the instruction check for defects
* Load machines with the correct timber profiles
* Set the stops to required dimensions
* Assemble the beads to form a 4 sided frame
* Apply to the bottom of the assembled frame – the glazing tape which will compress against the glass
Person:
* Capable of working unsupervised once trained
* Used to working as part of team
* Capable of reading instructions and drawings
* Ideally has wood working experience
* Ideally has assembly experience
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From £12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
