Job Description
Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives based in the South Norfolk area. Own transport is essential due to site location.
Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join our window and window frame manufacturing team. The role involves hands-on work assembling frames and glazing units using various materials such as aluminium, uPVC, or timber. This is a key role in ensuring products meet quality standards and are ready for delivery or installation.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assemble window frames and glazing units according to specifications and work instructions
Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, and fix frame components.
Fit hardware and accessories such as locks, hinges, handles, and gaskets.
Assist with glazing operations (installing glass panels into frames).
Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of glass and tools.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and finish.
Any other duties as required
Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or construction-related role (preferred).
Comfortable using tools and working with materials such as aluminium, uPVC, or timber.
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Physically fit – able to lift, bend, and carry window components.
Shift pattern:
Monday to Friday
0700 - 16:00
