All Square Recruitment is recruiting Assembly Operatives with a focus on ducting and sheet metal fabrication. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment with clear progression paths in a supportive, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position.
Assembly Operative – Responsibilities
* Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal fabrication and ductwork diagrams.
* Working to precise specifications to ensure high-quality output, particularly for ducting systems.
* Fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components, including various types of ducting (e.g., rectangular, spiral, custom fittings).
* Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools for general assembly tasks, including those specific to sheet metal and ducting work.
* Measuring, cutting, and shaping sheet metal to create ducting sections and other fabricated parts.
* Collaborating effectively with team members to optimize production processes for both general assembly and specialized ducting projects.
* Manual handling, which may involve some heavy lifting of sheet metal and ducting components.
* Adhering strictly to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
What We’re Looking For – Key Requirements
We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates will have:
* Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, ductwork installation, or a similar assembly/production role.
* Confidence and proficiency in using sheet metal tools and machinery.
* A strong ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and instructions, particularly those related to sheet metal components and ducting systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Punctuality, reliability, and a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills.
Assembly Operative – Shift Details
Monday to Friday (Weekday and Saturday Overtime available – Up to £18.78 per hour!)
Early Shift (6am till 2pm) – £13.53 per hour
Late Shift (2pm till 10pm) – £14.53 per hourBefore You Apply
