Job Description
Assembly Operatives/Cable Assemblers required to work for manufacturing company based in St. Albans
Key Responsibilities
Assemble cable assemblies, electronic sub-assemblies, and equipment cases
Solder cable assemblies and connectors,
Carry out mechanical assembly
Test and configure electrical equipment
Monitor stock levels of critical components and parts
Support production with bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and documentation
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environmentRequired Experience:
At least 1 years experience in soldering and crimping
Fine soldering experience would be advantageous
Basic IT proficiency (MS Excel/Word)
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ideally, knowledge of electromechanical tools
A methodical, fast-paced work ethic
Initiative and strong communication skillsAdditional Info:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
Salary: £(phone number removed) per annum DOE
