Assembly Operator
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Are you a skilled assembler with experience working across both mechanical and electronic components? We're working with a leading manufacturing business in Cambridge who are looking to add an Assembly Operator to their growing team. The Role:
As an Assembly Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth production of mechanical and electronic components. Working as part of a cooperative production team, you'll contribute to meeting daily targets, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electronic products using provided tools, instructions, and work orders
Follow all health & safety and environmental protocols
Work to standard operating procedures and encourage team compliance
Keep production records and systems updated accurately
Carry out tool checks and report any maintenance requirements
Resolve part or process issues as they arise
Support new product introductions and continuous improvement projects
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
Train to set up assembly equipment as required
Work with flexibility across tasks as needed by the management teamWorking Hours & Benefits:
Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
Flexitime available
